Arlean Mae Nielsen Walters, 64, died March 9, 1994.
Born May 5, 1929 in South Jordan, Utah to James and Mary Goff Nielsen. She married Neldon Dean Walters August 27, 1948 in Riverton, Utah. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
An active member of the LDS Church, she served as a Primary teacher, in the Relief Society Presidency, as Young Women's Advisor, as an Alpine stake missionary, and as a Provo Temple Worker. She was a family genealogist and was lovingly known as "Aunt Ticky" to many.
Survived by her husband of American Fork; children: Howard and Ann Walters, Everett, Washington; Kyle L. and Denice Walters, Mrs. Maury (Gisele) Miller, Joy Holen, all of American Fork; Mrs. Michael J. (Mary) Raddatz, Lehi; Clive and Jewel Walters, Alpine. 20 grandchildren, one great-grandchild. Brothers and sisters: Allen G. Nielsen and his wife Fern, Verbena Nielsen, Kearns; Donna Drommond, Bountiful; Geneva Page, Sandy; Mrs. Douglas (Coral) Peisley, Riverton.
Preceded in death by parents, a brother, Joseph, and sisters, Beth and Clarissa.
Funeral services will be Saturday, 11 a.m. in the American Fork 10th Ward, 680 North 350 West. Friends may call at Anderson and Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork, Friday 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday at the Church one hour prior to services. Burial, So. Jordan Cemetery.
