Joseph Franklin Walters, 59, died August 2, 1984 in a local hospital.
Born November 16, 1924 at Murray, Utah to Joseph F. and Elladean Doty Walters Sr. Married Miriam Mickelson, March 30, 1962. Mr. Walters was a maintenance engineer for Salt Lake City Corp. a member of Argenta Lodge #3 F&AM, Scottish Rite Bodies and El Kalah Temple of the Shrine and the Methodist Church.
Survived by widow, Salt Lake; daughters, Ann Miller, Kearns; Susan Farley, Riverton; Linda Walters, and Susan Rice of Salt Lake City; and son, David L. Walters, Salt Lake; brother Neldon D. and sister, Karen Larson, of American Fork; brothers, Lamar and Lewis of Salt Lake; sister, Bertha Eastman, Fairview, Utah; and brother, Byron W. of Price; nine grandchildren. Preceded in death by both parents.
Public masonic service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Eastman's Evans and Early Mortuary, 574 E. 1st South, where friends may call 1/2 hour prior to services. Interment Sunset Gardens of the Valley.
