Pearl W. Terrell
Hazel Pearl Walters Terrell, age 91, passed away May 20, 2001 in Delta. Born August 22, 1909 in Millcreek to Joseph C. and Hazel Nell Young Walters. Married Guy Hutchinson Terrell March 20, 1929 in Salt Lake Temple. He died Dec. 3, 1991.
Excellent homemaker and cook. Proud of children and loved being with them. Active member LDS Church. Served as Primary President. Taught her children the gospel by example. Remembered for soprano voice. Sang with Relief Society "Singing Mothers" and in trios. Charter member and President of PTA in Las Vegas. President East Millard Fine Arts Guild and Jolly Stitchers Club in Delta. Proud of pioneer heritage. Worked side by side with husband at Terrell Meats. Loved and revered by children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed.
Survived by children: Vilda Faye (Jed) Johnson, Orem; Stephen Guy Terrell, Fillmore; Nila Rae Hogan, Max Walters (Claudia) Terrell, Clark Walters (Nina) Terrell, all Delta; Kathleen Kay (Richard) Knight, Spanish Fork; 28 grandchildren; 73 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by three grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; four brothers; one sister.
Funeral services Wednesday May 23, 2001, 2 p.m., Delta 5th Ward. Friends call at Nickle Mortuary, Delta, Tuesday 7-8 p.m. and at Church, Wednesday 12:30-1:40 p.m. Burial Fillmore Cemetery.
